I ordered the Chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of okra. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a side of corn. The first bite immediately took me back to my childhood Sunday afternoons, eating with my grandma after church. The breading was delicious! The fried okra was good and crispy and the mashed and gravy was pretty good too. I'm not a fan of chicken fried steak but my husband wiped his no plate clean of that tells you anything. 2 hearty comfort meals plus 2 extra sides, and 2 drinks for $35! Will definitely be back. ”

“ I love this stuck in time restaurant. My husband got the chicken fried steak meal with mash potatoes and white gravy and I got the ultimate steak sandwich meal. My husband was not 100% sure if the mash potatoes were instant but he loved that the steak did not have one bit of gristle in it. My sandwich had bacon, cheese and fried onion. No gristle at all. Fries were hot and crispy. Free refills on drinks. Their ranch salad dressing was homemade and delicious. Parking was great. Some of the cloth booth seating are torn. Service is friendly and quick. ”

I'm a meal kind of guy so that's what I get and it's always excellent. Do not come in here with your sights set on some exquisite cuisine because this is all southern fried all day.
